“This program is really amazing. It’s helped me connect with the community and find places I never knew existed in my own neighborhood. It lets me experience things and do projects I’ve never done before, and I get to go to places and learn about interesting history I never knew. The girls here are really nice and welcoming, and I got to make new friends and gain new experiences. I’m learning to be a bit more social, and I’ve also learned about leadership and teamwork.”

“This program encourages and inspires me. My favorite things to do are to talk about ideas, create artwork, and plan the next project that is going to happen. I’ve met many young girls I didn’t know and was able to work, talk, and connect with them. I was welcomed in a community that made me feel at home without judgment.”
