Our Funders

The New York Women’s Foundation

The New York Women’s Foundation (NYWF) is among the largest women-led grantmaking organizations in the world, and has advanced a dynamic philanthropic strategy based on the fundamental reality that, when women and gender-expansive people thrive, their families and communities also thrive. The NYWF’s work is rooted in gender, racial, and economic justice, and the Foundation unites a cross-cultural alliance that ignites action and invests in bold, community-led solutions across the City of New York.

Mary’s Pence

Mary’s Pence was founded by women to support women on the margins at a time when women-led social justice projects were overlooked and under-funded. For more that thirty years, an all-female board and staff have continued the still necessary work of their founders by providing funding and holistic support to women working for justice in Central America, Mexico, the United States.

ArtID International

ArtID International (ArtID) leverages the visual, literary and performing arts as a vehicle to foster positive cultural and ethnic identity in all people. The organization provides underserved schools and communities with high-quality, arts-based teaching, professional development, and learning materials free of charge. Since 2019, ArtID has supported art residencies in schools and communities, teacher summer institutes, community engagement initiatives, and entrepreneurial projects in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and East Africa.

Third Wave Fund

The Third Wave Fund supports youth-led, gender justice activism to advance the political power, well-being and self-determination of racialized and low-income communities. The organization is led by, and for, racialized women, intersex, queer, and trans people under 35 years of age, and works to ensure that young people are decision-makers at the cutting edge of philanthropy.

Peace First

Peace First helps young people between the ages 13 and 25 create and lead projects that address injustice in their communities through compassion, courage, and collaborative leadership. The organization provides grantees with tools, skills, and connections to other young people around the world, and shares their stories and impact with an international audience.

The program is great because I get to experience new things, share my thoughts, and make new friends, and overall have a ton of fun.
